Sophisticated, but never complicated. Intelligent, but never intellectual. Juliet’s sound perfectly encapsulates the glamour of the jazz divas of a bygone age with a modern, sassy twist. It’s been described as a cross between Cassandra Wilson and Peggy Lee and ranges from sultry swing to toe-tapping grooves and Latin-inflected ballads.

Juliet has released three critically-acclaimed albums that have garnered excellent reviews from critics in the UK and the US as well as widespread radio airplay. She has worked with exceptional musicians including award-winners Seb Rochford, Courtney Pine and Tony Kofi and performed with Courtney Pine at the Barbican for the Jazz Britannia concert broadcast on BBC2 television.

Several tours have taken her to venues around the UK and she has also performed further afield with shows in Germany, Italy, Ireland, Israel and Australia. More recently she has delighted sell-out audiences in Greece and Russia leading to regular repeat bookings.

Juliet has opened for several high profile acts including Grammy-award winners Take 6, Georgie Fame, Lonnie Liston Smith and legendary bass player Ron Carter.

"Every now and then a new voice with a fresh attitude arrives on the jazz scene. That voice is here within the soul of Juliet Kelly ... The new voice on the UK jazz scene." Courtney Pine

"One of those rare singers that tells a genuine story with her music, through her passionate performance and naturally warm voice, it's a beguiling combination that's hard to resist. One of the UK's finest singers in any genre" Time Out

"an original talent rare amongst those who would call themselves jazz singers" Jazzwise
