Our Sunday lunch shows are always a great day out for families as well and children are admitted free of charge (<16) – all we ask is that youngsters are old enough or well behaved enough to enjoy the show quietly without causing a disturbance - while booking please consider number of adults and state the children in the comments

This thrilling swing band are masters at getting a room moving, and that's why there's a special - and free(!) - lindy hop dance class accompanying the show. Swap those tired old grooves for a few new moves with King Candy at Hideaway!

Grab your coat, get your hat and leave your worries on the doorstep. Get ready for an afternoon of uplifting entertainment from the country's leading swing band. Lindy Hop (a.k.a Jitterbug or Jive) originated in the 1930's alongside the Big Band tradition of the same era. Today will also include a dance class from the award-winning Lindy Hop organization Swingland...(more details including timings to follow soon, please check back!) Anyone wishing to take part should make sure to bring comfortable footwear and lots of enthusiasm! No partner is needed and beginners are welcome, so there's no excuse not to get up and join in!
King Candy are a charismatic 9-piece 'mini big band', known for leading dancers and listeners through a sweet-store of swing era hits and Lindy Hop delights. Well respected for their beautifully crafted arrangements and high energy performances this ensemble features some of the country's most dynamic musicians.
