A night of the finest American independent soul artists featuring Sulpacio Jones, Roszunn plus from Toronto, Canada, Shi Wisdom and the Recipee Band – all brought to Hideaway in association with Baysoul Entertainment and Nnuzsor Enterprise.

Sulpacio Jones is a soulful R&B artist who has already made an impact in the UK, with her debut release hitting the top five in the UK Soul Charts in 2013 and grabbed the Number One slot on the London Independent Chart Show with her singles ‘Should I Stay’ and ‘Feel Thangs’.

UK’s Colourful Radio listeners voted Sulpacio as Best Newcomer and the reputed Soul Brother Records stated, “it’s one of the best soul sets of 2013”, while DJ Bigger couldn't resist tweeting about her 2015 release (‘Live, Love, Fly, High’), proclaiming it as “one of the best indie albums of 2015!”

Roszunn, is an award winning Independent Soul Artist recognized for his sensually smooth singles ‘Come Home With Me,’ ‘Rum N Coke,’ and ‘A Hold of You.’ With four albums and an EP released, Roszunn has been writing, producing and engineering music since the tender age of thirteen, inspired by artists and musicians such as Prince, D’Angelo, Earth Wind & Fire, Al Green, Rance Allen, Kim Burrell, The Isley Brothers and Charlie Parker.

The Recipee Band are the musical glue for the evening, holding the groove together with their instantly memorable sound, and featuring some of Canada’s finest musicians, who between them have been on various international releases, been signed to Universal Music and EMI, won a Canadian Urban music award, Juno nominations and a drumming championship.  With such fine musicianship on display, it’s no surprise that the band has had the opportunity to perform with such acts as Brandy, Foxy Brown, Ginuwine, Usher, 98 Degrees, Kim Burrell, Roy Ayers, Carvin Winans as well as Canada's very own Kardinal Offishall, Jully Black, Divine Brown, Orin Isaacs, Shawn Desman, Shawn Hook and Massari.
