Hamish Stuart (Average White Band)

Glasgow-born Hamish Stuart  joined the AWB in June 1972.  his distinct songwriting, vocal and guitar styles helped them pave the way to becoming widely regarded as one of the all time great soul and funk bands.  Though perhaps best known for their timeless instrumental mega-hit 'Pick Up the Pieces' they have also produced gold selling albums and landed multiple Grammy nominations for the legendary Atlantic Records.

Since AWB, Hamish has also worked with Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan and David Sanborn to name a few.

This night promises to be epic. A celebration of Funk and Soul. Sparks are going to fly with Janine’s soulful prowess and Hamish keeping it fabulously funky.
