Patches Stewart, is part of the next generation who took the original funk, jazz and soul prototype and with his trumpet exploded it into a thousand fresh fragments; jazz funk, jazz rock, soul funk and so many more. Through his work with Quincy Jones, Al Jarreau, Marcus Miller and many others, Patches has left a serious fingerprint on modern music history.

Xantoné Blacq, born in Lagos, Nigeria, his roots are from Africa.  As part of the generation after Patches, his Vocals, Keyboards and Percussion playing are a fusion of the new and the old; the funk and Africa. No stranger to the big stage, he was Amy Winehouse’s keyboard player and toured worldwide with her.

Gareth Lockrane (flute - Corinne Bailey Rae, JTQ), Nathan Allen
(drums - Amy Winehouse, Tom Jones) and Dale Davis (bass - Amy Winehouse, Mark Ronson) complete this funky line up.
