A message for all of our customers regarding Coronavirus

In line with the most recent announcements from the Government and Public Health England, Hideaway will be temporarily closed from Thursday 19th March.

We want to reassure our customers that your health, as well of that of our staff, musicians and the community we are proud to be a part of is our absolute priority.

We are currently working through our schedule of upcoming shows and postponing and re-booking the artists who will be affected by this current and unique global challenge.

As shows are re-booked, all tickets will automatically be valid and transferred to the new date and we will contact all customers on a show-by-show basis.

Please bear with us as it will take us several days to work through the calendar.

We will be re-opening once the updates from PHE advise that it is safe to do so – please keep a close eye on our social media channels and also our mailing list for news about our re-opening – tickets will also remain on sale for shows later in the year.

With best wishes and much love, The Hideaway Team

With a new anthology album about to be released, the UK’s number one King of Soul and the Godfather of Neo Soul marks three incredible decades of music in 2020. The one and only OMAR returns to Hideaway for three nights! Be warned, these shows will be a roadblock and tickets will sell FAST!

“When I grow up, I wanna be like Omar” Stevie Wonder
“Still ...one of the best voices I’ve ever heard” Erykah Badu

Stevie Wonder, Angie Stone, Syreeta Wright, Common, Estelle, Incognito’s Bluey Maunick, Erykah Badu, Carleen Anderson, Caron Wheeler, Leon Ware, India Arie, Lamont Dozier, Zed Bias, Pino Palladino, Roger Sanchez, Guru & Jazzmatazz, Maddslinky, Kele le Roc, Mario Biondi - all these people have one thing in common - all are admirers of, and past collaborators with the truly unique, gifted, original artist... British soul pioneer Omar.

The musical history is renowned and the Lyefook family has musical talent embedded deep in its DNA. Omar’s father Byron worked as a studio musician and drummer with Bob Marley, Horace Andy and even The Rolling Stones.

Samia LyeFook (Omar’s sister) is a highly regarded vocalist in her own right, and BRIT School alumni. Omar’s younger brother, the Grammy winning producer, remixer and DJ professionally known as Scratch Professor has been making jaws drop since stunning the crowd at the 1988 DMC UK Finals with his turntablist skills at the age of 13!

And of course, let's not forgot their big brother... Omar.

Following on from 2013’s album ‘The Man’ (his first for London based independent label Freestyle Records), 2017 saw the release of  ‘Love In Beats’ – an album that further cemented his enviable reputation as an outstanding soul artist.
