This top-notch London big band King Groovy and The Horn Stars have been performing on the London jazz circuit since 2005, delivering dynamic swing, jazz, Latin and funk. The Horn Stars Under MD Paul Goodrum, the Horn Stars will be performing a brand new show featuring classics from the big band era with special guest vocalist Beverley Stone. Expect a full-on big band sound with dexterous solos, awesome grooves and gorgeous melodies.

The first half of the show will take you on a journey through the big band swing era featuring classics from the likes of Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Buddy Rich and Woody Herman. The second half will be a dedication to the 1970s, the decade of funk.
Guest vocalist Beverley Stone is a hugely talented artist on the UK jazz scene.Since as long as she can remember Beverley has been immersed in popular music, starting with the Great American songbook interpreted by the likes of Frank, Ella, Nat and Billie, but also adding more recent artists such as Carol King and Amy. The key has always been the combination of melody, musical arrangement, emotion, and the story to be told - the more soul searching the better. Beverley will be performing songs made famous by the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Bille Holiday and Diane Schuur.
