Funk, jazz, neo-soul and hip hop collide for this special double header at Hideaway with J-Felix and support from Brighton vocalist Lebeaux.

Producer and multi-instrumentalist Joe F Newman released his debut album as J-Felix, ‘101 Reasons’, on Tru Thoughts in June 2015. Receiving high praise from NME as well as heavy radio support from Don Letts and Huey Morgan, to name a few, as he showcased his vibrant instrumental cuts of the ‘80s funk and disco variety, interwoven with smooth vocals from himself and a handful of collaborators.

“So damn good... This guy’s got it going on!” Huey Morgan (BBC 6Music)

“A sublime journey through squelchy electro-funk, tripped-out neo soul and woozy hip-hop beats”  (8/10)  NME

Support comes from The Brighton vocalist Lebeaux, who delivers hooky neo-soul melodies with a ridiculously impressive range.
