UNDER 16s admitted FREE - Please let us know how many children will be attending in the Comments Box section of the booking form.

In a truly international line up, the award winning Los Angeles-based virtuoso smooth-jazz guitarist Richard Smith returns for a cool, funky fusion second set featuring his own compositions, and more. Anyone who has seen his performances with us in previous years will know that this an event not to be missed! Richard will also be showcasing one of his highly-talented students from LA in songs from Amy Winehouse, scaled up for a full big band line-up. Be the first to hear these new arrangements!

In a perfect complement to Richard's set, the wonderful UK soul-jazz songstress Chantelle Duncan will feature in the first set, with material from Stevie Wonder to Chaka Khan. And of course mainstay of the gig will be your favourite contemporary big band, the amazing Hot Orange, recently in demand for a private party for one of the stars of TV's "Game of Thrones" no less!

Hot Orange big band was formed in 1995 and has established an enviable reputation for top class performances of modern jazz orchestra repertoire, mixing jazz, fusion, funk, and Latin genres. Hot Orange has performed at The Vortex Jazz Bar, the 606 Club, Camden's The Forge, in Soho’s Jazz on The Streets Festival, in the More London Festival at The Scoop, the Victoria & Albert Museum and the Ealing Jazz Festival. Guest Artists performing with Hot Orange include noted vocalists Nina Ferro and Sarah Ellen Hughes, the award-winning LA-based smooth-jazz guitarist Richard Smith, plus the distinguished pianist, composer, and broadcaster, Julian Joseph. They've also had a majestic night of Latin rhythms here at Hideaway with percussion maestro Roberto Pla!
