Carey Marx has been a circuit favourite for years, mixing his own blend of dark humour with his mischievous and gleeful delivery. His willful disregard for the controversial and delicate is tempered beautifully by his ability to find joy in the most unexpected places. This hilarious mix of edgy topics and playful gagsmithery can be seen at all the top clubs across the country with Marx regularly playing Jongleurs, Komedia and The Comedy Store and annually compering Reading, Leeds and Glastonbury Festivals. Carey has taken shows to numerous Edinburgh Festival Fringes. His most successful festival being 2013, in which he took his new show ‘Intensive Carey’. Carey received an incredible eight 4 and 5 star reviews for his show concerning his ill health over the last year. Alongside his stand up, Carey has recorded a popular weekly topical podcast with comedian Barry Castagnola, called “The Proper Gander”.

Ian Smith is an award-winning comedian, actor and writer. Since starting at a young age, Ian has developed a reputation as an exciting, creative comic. Mixing conversational, energetic storytelling and observations with unique set pieces and an exceptional skill for improvisation – Ian is a regular at the biggest comedy clubs in the UK. Ian has appeared on BBC Three at the Fringe, BBC3 panel show Sweat the Small Stuff and Channel 5 series The Funny Thing About… He is also one third of top-charting Dave podcast, The Magic Sponge, alongside Rob Beckett. His 2017 show, Snowflake, won two awards – the Amused Moose Comedy Award People’s Champion and a Three Weeks Editors’ Award – and played to sell out rooms and critical acclaim.

Tom Toal as MC
Tom Toal is a comedian, writer and actor, hailing from the South East London town of Bexleyheath.
One of comedy's rising stars he performed his debut show On The Scrapheap about the break-up of his multi-year relationship at the Edinburgh and Leicester Festivals in 2010 achieving widespread acclaim and reviews.
