James Alderson turned full-time in the comedy world in 2011. He performs regularly doing paid MCing, 15s, 20s and 30s all over the UK and abroad most nights of the week for clubs such as Laughing Horse, Fun House, The Glee Club, Jongleurs, Highlight, Laughing Pod, Bobs Comedy Clubs, Komedia, and The Comedy Club. James is happy performing in front of 250 students, 1000 festival goers, 30 private party guests, 100 army squaddies, 500 hens and stags, or a theatre full of families, as he has a variety of material for any occasion and revels in the challenge!
Belfast boy Ryan McDonnell is no stranger to laughs in his home town and is currently building up quite a reputation for himself on the UK comedy circuit. Ryan interjects a sharp wit and Irish charm in his observation of everyday life. Sometimes bizarre, often dark he’ll guide you on a unique journey through the world as he sees it.
2010 saw Ryan make his debut at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival in the prestigious Pleasance Courtyard from which critics at Three Weeks acclaimed his stand-up as “Apollo quality live comedy”.
Ryan was a runner up in the 2009 Amused Moose Laugh Off final in Edinburgh and a 2008 Magners Comedy Awards finalist. Other notable events have included Bloom Festival On Tour at Camden’s Koko in front of over a thousand people and playing to a packed and loving crowd in the Electric Picnic's ladies toilets. Venturing to the Edinburgh Festival in 2008 and 2009 he headlined various Fringe events. Constantly refining his art, Ryan is definitely one comedian you should not miss.
Johnny Cochrane as MC
Johnny is one half of hit TV sketch series The Johnny and Inel Show (CBBC) as part of the UK’s first black comedy double act – a ground-breaking moment for British television. Both Series 1 & 2 were met with huge critical acclaim leading to nominations for 2 RTS North West Awards including Best Comedy Programme and Best Performance in a Comedy. Johnny is also an experienced Writer/Performer in his own right and regularly performs at comedy venues across the country.
