A message for all of our customers regarding Coronavirus

In line with the most recent announcements from the Government and Public Health England, Hideaway will be temporarily closed from Thursday 19th March.

We want to reassure our customers that your health, as well of that of our staff, musicians and the community we are proud to be a part of is our absolute priority.

We are currently working through our schedule of upcoming shows and postponing and re-booking the artists who will be affected by this current and unique global challenge.

As shows are re-booked, all tickets will automatically be valid and transferred to the new date and we will contact all customers on a show-by-show basis.

Please bear with us as it will take us several days to work through the calendar.

We will be re-opening once the updates from PHE advise that it is safe to do so – please keep a close eye on our social media channels and also our mailing list for news about our re-opening – tickets will also remain on sale for shows later in the year.

With best wishes and much love, The Hideaway Team

Tickets £7 in advance or £10 on the door.

An evening of neo-folk & acoustic delights featuring rising stars who come from SW16 and beyond. Indie Folk artist MARCH will headline this month, with support from Nunhead Folk Circle and more!

We also welcome acoustic singer-songwriters to perform on the Hideaway stage for our open-mic slots - please EMAIL us with any audio or video links!

March is an artist from the U.K. based in London. With folk, indie and experimental influences, she blends together these moods creating a unique atmospheric pool of smooth layered vocals, interweaving guitar melodies and unexpected yet catchy hooks.

In 2019 she released debut EP 'Wear Me Down' securing a slot at Glastonbury festival and gaining attention from BBC Introducing Solent, The South and Radio 6 'Fresh On The Net' blog. She also successfully crowdfunded to begin recording her debut album, set for release in Autumn 2020. Recent achievements include being chosen as one of Help Musicians UK's supported artists, receiving a 'Do It Differently' grant as a contribution towards her album creation. March has also supported artists such as Rae Morris, Rozi Plain, Band of Skulls, Maz O'Connor and Meadowlark.

Nunhead Folk Circle

NFC are redefining that worn out old term, folk. By blending African, Latin and Old English musics with humour, rhythmical power and lyrical intrigue, they produce great songs that you will be singing the next day.
Their first EP is 'In the Front Room'. The five songs on the CD capture their live acoustic sound and reflect the eclectic nature of the band.

A Hideaway Joint Promotion in Association with the artists.
