ZiroBop is a 360 degree journey through the music of early jazz, straight ahead be bop and hard bop to funk, prog rock, African, Indian and Latin American music.

ZiroBop was formed in 2014 by Italian drummer Enzo Zirilli, one of the most versatile and creative drummer-percussionists of the last generation. Turin-born with Sicialian roots, Enzo moved to London in 2004 and quickly became one of the most in demand drummers in UK, as well as in Europe. He recorded and toured all over the world with artists from jazz, world music, Latin, funk and pop, such as Tom Harrell, Bob Mintzer, Dado Moroni, Enrico Pieranunzi, James Moody, Gloria Gaynor, Gary Bartz, Hamish Stuart, Liane Carroll, Omar MBE, James Torme', Pietro Tonolo, Peter Bernstein, Luigi Bonafede, George Garzone, Flavio Boltro, Dominique Di Piazza, Jim Mullen, Stan Sulzmann, John Etheridge and Jason Rebello.

The band is formed by Italian guitar master Alessandro Chiappetta and two young talented English rising stars. 21 year old Rob Luft on guitar (he has already been on tour with the Dave Holland's Youth Big Band) and 24 year old Misha Mullov-Abbado on bass (he just won the Kenny Wheeler prize for composition and arrangement).
