‘A continuously exuberant ride ... performed by a band as razor-sharp as those suits’ - Jazzwise.com

Charlie Parker On Dial focuses on just two years of Bird’s hectic life – the period he recorded with Ross Russell’s Dial label, producing classics such as Ornithology, Night in Tunisia, Relaxin’ at Camarillo, Scrapple From The Apple and Klacto-veeseds-tene – and revolutionising 1940s jazz in the process.

Alto sax virtuoso Nathaniel Facey leads this narrated celebration of jazz genius Charlie Parker, with a band including Alex Webb(narrator / piano /MD), special guest vocalist Deelee Dube (the first British winner of the US Sarah Vaughan vocal award in 2016), Freddie Gavita (trumpet), Aliocha Thevenet (guitar), Andy Cleyndert (bass), Alfonso Vitale (drums).
