Hideaway Jazz Cafe Sunday Lunches with Janette Mason

Second Sunday of every month at Hideaway's Jazz Cafe, Start time 12pm, Free entry

Enjoy your perfect Sunday afternoon at Hideaway's Jazz Cafe with Janette Mason

Your favourite Jazz club, Hideaway, has recently opened a Jazz Cafe on Streatham’s High Road, the best new place to go for your fresh morning coffee or a delicious breakfast before work. We’re open throughout the day, so why not join us in the afternoon or evening for a relaxing cocktail or glass of wine, or choose something from the mouth-watering selection on our menus.

A sought after side man for the likes of Claire Martin and Lea DeLaria, Janette Mason is a talented composer and arranger. She was recently commissioned to write the score for MEDB’s Feature Film, ‘The Calling’, starring Susanah York and Brenda Blethyn, contributed four arrangements to Ian Shaw’s Album ‘Drawn to all Things’ and produced and arranged Lea DeLaria’s current Warner Brothers release ‘The Live Smoke Sessions’, which made the Grammy Ballot this year.

As a Jazz musician, she has been a seminal figure on the British Jazz Scene for the last fifteen years, sharing the stage with Mornington Lockett, Julian Siegel and many more.

On the second Sunday of every month, dive into a sumptuous plate from our menu while our resident pianist, Janette Mason, swings the room with melodies from jazzy to mellow and everything in between. A regular on Hideaway’s main stage, you’ve probably heard her on tour with the likes of Pulp and Oasis! Our Sunday Lunch music in the Cafe is free entry, so come on down for a great afternoon!

Just wanted to express our thanks to you for another very nice evening.
It was lovely to be received so nicely and to be so attentively cared for throughout the evening by marvelous Louie and his excellent good humor and customer skills. Hideaway is a lovely music venue and It deserves all the good things that surely are coming to it's path.
We wish you all the very best for the future.

Paul, Mandy, Richard, Pauline.
