The latest edition of Tomorrow’s Warriors brings together five forward thinking individuals to launch one of the most exciting and creative bands yet. Performing new material alongside progressive arrangements of modern jazz classics, expect hard swinging music, with flavours of the contemporary sounds that shaped their formative years. They look set to make a huge impact on the UK jazz scene for years to come.

Superb musicianship, inspirational solos, exceptional writing and superb production make Rhythmica the most exciting band on the London scene in years. Saxophonist Zem Audu's 'Time Machine' and pianist Peter Edwards' 'Solace' are as good compositions as you'll hear anywhere in jazz today, while the band's arrangements of Herbie Hancock's 'The Sorcerer' and Joe Hariott's 'Parallel' are simply stunning. Although they're a new name as a band they've been playing together for years as Tomorrow's Warriors, and it certainly shows. The sound is warm and clear as a bell and Rhythmica's debut CD is Mercury winning stuff - or damn well should be!
