Electrio with Morcheeba keyboardist Dan JD73 Goldman play jazz funk at Hideaway Streatham South London

Featuring former Morcheeba keyboardist Dan ‘JD73’ Goldman on Rhodes and synths this forward-thinking group plays adventurous and hard-hitting original compositions influenced by legendary Rhodes players/artists including Herbie Hancock and The Headhunters, Bob James, George Duke, Patrice Rushen, Jeff Lorber, and Chick Corea.

The ElecTrio have already brought their uniquely firey brand of instrumental jazz-funk to many esteemed venues and festivals including Ronnie Scotts, the Royal Festival Hall (for London Jazz Festival), Jazz re:freshed, Manchester Jazz Festival, and Marsden Jazz Festival and also supported Blue Note artist José James on his 2013 UK tour.

The ElecTrio recently became ambassadors for Jazz North’s ‘Northern Line’ Arts Council funded touring scheme and their debut album will be hitting the shelves in 2018!

Line Up: Dan Goldman (keys),  Hamlet Luton on bass, Gordon Kilroy on drums and special guest for the Hideaway, Benet Mclean on electric violin.
