Sharlene Hector - Vocals

Sharlene Hector is one of the top soul, gospel and blues singers in the UK.
She first came to prominence when she sang backing vocals for the Grammy Award nominated Basement Jaxx on their track 'Good Luck' as well as touring with them. She featured in the worldwide Coca-Cola commercial singing her top hit 'I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel To Be Free'.
Add to this the fact that she has provided backing vocals to talents such as Mary J. Blige, Boy George, Sam Sparro and Natasha Bedingfield her stunning and soulful vocals should not be missed!

Janette Mason is by now a familiar face at Hideaway. She took on the role of resident Musical Director in 2012 and has been producing an eclectic array of shows from Bond to Bowie and Beyond. Her skills as a composer and arranger can be heard on her 2010 Trio CD ‘Alien Left Hand’ which was nominated for a Parliamentary Jazz Award and on the soundtrack to ‘Ruby Blue’ an award winning independent film starring Bob Hoskins. As a keyboard player she has worked with Oasis, Seal,Pulp and Robert Wyatt as well as the cream of the UK’s jazz performers including Clare Martin, Ian Shaw, and Clare Teal.

Paul Booth

Paul Booth is one of the most exciting and in demand musicians on the scene today. Although a very prominent figure on the jazz scene with an album released on the Jazzizit label and his latest album "No Looking Back" on the Basho label, his versatility has seen him play in many musical genres. He studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London from the age of 16 and graduated with honours at the age 20.

 

 

 

Westley Joseph

Westley Joseph hitting the right notes everytime all the time with his sticksWestley Joseph’s career has taken him all over the world time and time again. Making his living as a successful freelance musician based in London has allowed him to perform in all different musical styles and genres. Currently Westley is recording, gigging and touring with many different outfits and artists including Soothsayers, Leo the Lion, The Mitchell Brothers, Akala, Omar, Sona Jobarteh, HKB FiNN, Mary Pearce (Primal Scream, Mica Paris, Beverly knight) Imaani (Incognito), Louise Marshal (Jools Holland) to mention a few.
