George Anderson

A solo artist in his own right, George has performed around the world notably in Cape Town South Africa where his latest live CD ‘Cape Town To London’ was recorded.  George contributed to the songwriting in Shakatak having co- written their hit ‘Day By Day’ which features Grammy Award winner Al Jarreau.

George has now written and produced three solo albums: 'Positivity', ‘Expressions’  and his latest 'Cape Town To London'. It boasts the radio play hit 'Back In The Day' which achieved critical acclaim. The song 'Lay Ur Hands On Me' from 'Positivity' is a former JazzFM record of the week.

George and his band will be playing songs from his solo albums, as well as playing music celebrating the music of George Duke, EWF, The Brothers Johnson, Crusaders, Prince and other jazz, funk and soul gems.

Tonight George is joined by a very special guest - soul-legend Junior Giscombe who’s hit ‘Mama Used To Say’ is a soul classic.
