Ed Bentley is a fine Pianist/Vocalist, a Prestige Records Artist with his Band, “The Blue Note Quartet”. His career started many years ago, right in the deep end, playing the St James’s Club at 7 Park Place - where his regular evening audience comprised the cream of the UK film and record industries and Hollywood too. The list of stars he played to is exhaustive - Sir John Mills, Elizabeth Taylor, Joan Collins, Shirley Bassey, Tom Jones, Robert Wagner, Richard Pryor, Stephanie Powers and Stephen Spielberg are just a handful of names plucked from a very exclusive crowd

Ed went on to play at the Dorchester, The Lanesborough, The Hyde Park Mandarin Oriental, The Waldorf, Crowne Plaza London St James, Mayfair Hilton at Windows, Le Meridien Picadilly and the Intercontinental Hotel Mayfair London to mention just a few in London. Places abroad have included the Penta Hotel in Heidelberg, La Mamounia and Royal Mansour in Morocco, The Gulf in Bahrain, Le Meridien in Paris (The Patio Bar) and the Hotel Splendid and American Bar in Zurich Switzerland. Recent additions to his list of venues for Jazz Piano Vocals have included the Casino in Cannes for the Film Festival, Smollenskys On The Strand, The Crystal Room at the Dorchester London, and the Jumeirah Carlton Tower in London for special functions for Dubai Promotions.

Ed has also been the choice of the Royal Family with private functions for the late Princess Margaret, the late Queen Mother, Prince Charles and the Late Lady Diana Spencer at Althorpe the family home and at Prince Harry’s favourite Club. Ed has also performed for the Spanish Royal Family at private functions.

Testimonials

I just wanted to say what a great evening I spent at Hideaway last night. Ciyo's performance was dynamic, emotional and powerful. He is a real guitar virtuoso and so ably supported by the other brilliant musicians in his band.  I look forward to seeing and hearing them all again at this fabulous venue.
