US trumpeter Abram Wilson has made many friends in the UK since moving here from New York eight years ago, winning awards and establishing a reputation at venues up and down the country as a top class musician. He will be performing repertoire from his Life Paintings album, a brand new set of original instrumental music steeped in the jazz tradition that shows impressive growth in maturity and stature as an artist and marks him out very clearly as one of the most gifted composers and instrumentalists the country has to offer.
