dave LewisDAVE LEWIS’S “1 UP” featuring NOEL McCALLA-vocals. After studying at the world famous Berkeley school of music in Boston, USA, Dave returned to his country to a wealth of work. His robust and melodic tenor playing has been heard with a variety of artists and he is currently the featured saxophonist with the iconic band the “Blockheads”. His own band is an impressive array of talent, in particular the iconic R&B/Soul singer Noel McCalla. Noel first came to prominence with the seminal funk band Morrisey/Mullen and has for the last 15 or so years been the voice of Manfred Mann’s “Earth Band”. A brilliant singer it is with great pleasure that we welcome him to the club. Tonight the band will be performing material from their latest album “Turn it Round”. Great band, great gig this.

Testimonials

Hideaway is a brilliant and inspiring addition to the UK live music scene. It is impossible to do a bad gig there. The artists and the punters are treated royally. The cocktails are the dog's [bananas] too. LOVE IT.
